How we manage your procurement
Managed by Berg is for businesses that prefer to buy directly from manufacturers while outsourcing procurement coordination in China. We can work with your existing suppliers or help you find new ones.

Agree the brief
We clarify specifications, quantities, budget and timing. If you already have suppliers, we review what is working and what needs attention.

Find suppliers and compare offers
We check company identity and manufacturing suitability, compare prices and terms, and coordinate samples. You approve the supplier and product specification.

Set the terms
We negotiate price, payments, quality requirements and warranty terms. We agree who contracts and pays before ordering; our Chinese company can support local contracting under Chinese law.

Follow production and check the goods
We chase milestones, clarify factory questions and coordinate agreed inspections. We report deviations and follow corrective work with the supplier. Required laboratory testing is arranged through qualified providers.

Arrange delivery and follow up
We coordinate collection, consolidation, documents and freight within the agreed scope. We follow warranty issues with suppliers and keep the specifications ready for repeat orders.

Yes. We can work with manufacturers you already know, whether you buy directly from them or through Berg Supply. Tell us what you would like us to take over and we will agree the work with you.
Our fee is 2-8% of the goods value, with a €1,250 minimum per order. Larger orders and qualifying repeat purchases have lower rates. We give you the rate before you commit, and calculate it on the goods alone, without freight, duties or taxes.
Our management fee pays for the procurement work we agree with you. Samples, outside inspections, lab testing and freight are additional costs, which you approve separately. If you buy from Berg Supply, the quotation shows what is included in the supply price.
The research is still payable because we have carried out the work and you keep the findings. If we go on to manage an order from one of those suppliers within six months of the report, the €650 comes off that order’s management fee. The credit applies once; it is not a cash refund.
The listed prices exclude applicable VAT. We put the work, payment stages and terms in writing before starting a paid assignment. Sending an enquiry does not commit you to one.
